Dear all,
We are very excited to announce that Abigail E. Disney has come on board as Executive Producer for Project Dad. Ms. Disney brings years of experience to our project — both as an activist and philanthropist, and as producer of the acclaimed documentary Pray the Devil Back to Hell and the groundbreaking PBS series Women, War & Peace, the most comprehensive global media initiative ever mounted on the role of women in peace and conflict. Along with her husband, Pierre Hauser, Abigail co-founded the Daphne Foundation, which works with low-income communities in the five boroughs of New York City. She also founded Peace is Loud, which amplifies women’s voices for peacebuilding using the power of media. Abigail serves as a board member for a number of organizations, including the Global Fund for Women and the Peace Research Endowment. Her work in philanthropy, women’s engagement and leadership, and conflict resolution has been recognized through the Epic Award from the White House Project, the Changing the Landscape for Women Award from the Center for the Advancement of Women, and the prestigious International Advocate for Peace (IAP) Award from the Cardozo Law School’s Cardozo Journal of Conflict Resolution. We are thrilled to have Ms. Disney as a member of our team.
Ms. Disney’s production company, Fork Films, will also be actively involved in presenting Project Dad. A film production company based in New York City dedicated to the development and production of films that move, inspire, and enlighten, Fork Films has incredible experience with distribution and outreach campaigns for documentary film, which we know will help get Project Dad out to the widest audience possible. Over the past four months, we have been hard at work in the editing room, and we’ve made incredible progress. We anticipate premiering Project Dad at a major film festival in early 2015. We have one last chunk of fundraising to do, in order to cover finishing costs such as animating, sound mixing, color correcting, and music scoring. Can you help us finish Project Dad by making a donation of any size?

Every little bit will help us raise the final amount we need to finish this project. After four years of working to bring Project Dad to life, we cannot wait to share the final film with all of you, who have supported this project from the very beginning.
Thank you and much love, Sharon
